Use of Corner Code In Embedded Parts

Force performance of embedded parts: its force performance is related to the construction of the corner code. If the corner code is very rigid, the corner code will not bend and deform under the tension. And the anchor rib is in the center tension state. If the rigidity of the corner code is small, the anchor plate will be bent and deformed. In addition to being pulled, the anchoring band will still undergo shear deformation at the root of the anchoring rib. So the anchoring rib is subjected to internal shearing force and the curtain wall is partially squeezed by the anchoring rod. The size of the shear deformation is related to the degree of bending of the corner code. The stress of the steel bar at the tension end is the largest. If its distance from the tension end is longer, the stress is smaller.

The main factors affecting the tensile strength of embedded channel parts:

1. The corner length: The corner code mainly depends on the cohesive force. The source of the cohesive force is from the cementing force, the frictional resistance and the biting force.

2. When the length of the corner code is not enough, corner code failure occurs. The bond slip is too large or the bond stress exceeds the bond strength.

The above two requirements must be considered in the engineering design. In the actual structure, when the embedded depth of the embedded anchor rod can not meet the requirements of the specification, additional anchor fixation will be installed.
